Korns pencil cores are shaped lithographic crayons that are made of a greasy substance that can be used to draw directly on lithographic stones or paper. Their hardness varies from soft through to extra hard. Used for litho on stone, plate or aquatint. Can be mixed with water and the crayons are acid resistant. Available in Hardness # 1 (Softest) through #5 (Very Hard).
