Stroke and Blend Medium is one of the innovative painting mediums from Jo Sonja, designed for use with acrylic paints.

It allows the smooth control of brushstrokes, aids in fine details painting and will delay the drying time of paints. Add a small amount to acrylic paint to lubricate the paint, allowing for smoother painting strokes and enhancing the creamy consistency of the paint.

The paint will remain ‘open’ longer than usual allowing more time for blending and detail. It should be allowed to cure for at least 3 days before attempting to apply water-based varnish. Mix with Jo Sonja Colours to create a dilution similar to bottle colours.

May be used in various techniques such as stencilling, stippling, blending etc.
