Cretacolor Megacolor are lightfast, highly pigmented, professional quality, Fine Art coloured pencils with the thickest possible lead - 6.4 mm. They are especially suitable for colouring large surfaces but also for fine details using when sharpened to a point. The soft, rich, slightly waxy colour laydown is perfect for shading and can be intermixed to produce numerous, intermediate tones.
